Wedding Time

We had the privledge of attending some dear friends wedding a couple weeks ago. Christy is Nate's classmate. They both entered the PhD program at the same time, and both as Timothy Scholars. We have anticipated Adam and Christy's big day! Jenna was especially excited. It was the first wedding she's ever attended! Joshua opted to stay at home with Isaac and the sitter :).

Since their wedding Jenna has gotten the neighbor boy, also 4 years old, who lives above us, to marry her. I didn't realize how intently she had watched and listened at the ceremony until one day I heard her 'marrying' Teddy outside my open kitchen window. They were standing facing each other, holding hands. She made him repeat after her saying, "will you take my heart". Then she had some fake ring that she had him wear. After they had said their vows and exchanged the ring, she said, "now we walk down the aisle (this done arm n arm)". I was glad she left out the kiss part, or I would have had to intervene!

Anyway, we had a great time and it was so fun to celebrate their marriage while hanging out with great friends!


Adam is very tall, and Jenna always refers to him as "Big Adam"
