"Well" Check

Isaac had his 18 month well check this morning. I went with expectations of a smooth and swift appointment. Upon initial assessment the nurse asks if I knew he had a fever? What? No, I didn't. It was only 100.4 and he honestly didn't feel too warm. I chalked it up to teeth. He was happy as a lark! Then the Dr. comes in and upon further assessment tells me he has a slight wheeze (only audible with a stethoscope), and asks if he's been coughing. He does have a slight cold, but honestly, little to no coughing. Then came the real kicker! She checks his ears...double ear infection! We had no idea!!! And why didn't we have any idea? Because Isaac never let us know :). Have I mentioned he is a content baby? I guess now known as a content baby with some amount of pain tolerance. Who knows?!?
