A highlight for me was a second-annual girls weekend! This year we all migrated to Nashville, TN. I can't tell you how much I look forward to these weekends. We talk hours upon hours, stay up late, sleep in, eat when we want, encourage one another, go shopping, see the sights, talk some more...it is so much fun and such a blessing to me! I come home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated! Thanks for hosting Kristina!!
A highlight for our youngest this month was potty training!!! Can you believe it, we're officially out of diapers around here! Wahoooo! I had attempted before Christmas to potty train Isaac, but quickly realized it needed to happen when I could give him my 100% undivided attention, which meant I needed Nate to be around for the older ones. So I decided to go for it again inbetween Nate's semesters when he could help out. Seriously, I lucked out, Isaac caught on by day two (in fact, even waking up from naps and night time dry!) and not only did he catch on, but I soon realized I could *mostly* trust him to tell me when he needed to go. Unbelievable! Way to go Isaac!
A not-so-great highlight, rather a lowlight, was the two weeks of illness Jenna and Isaac had. Jenna had it first and not just your typical sickness, no, the kind where she's puking on day one and still flat on the couch on day 6! Ugh, she ended up being diagnosed with pneumonia. Then as I'm at the Dr. with Jenna on Friday, Nate tells me over the phone that Isaac just puked everywhere. He ended up being a very sick little boy for a solid 7 days! At one point we were at the Dr's office 5 out of the 6 days they were open. I'm so thankful no on landed in the hospital, everyone has recuperated (except for lingering coughs and runny noses), and for Dr's and medicine!!! Hopefully no more 13 days in a row of sickness around here.
A final highlight is that I updated my blog again :). My goal is to update at the end of each month, unless of course there's something I can't wait to post!
Almost every night the kids will beg Nate to wrestle with them. This night he turned into Jenna's horse!
Here are me and my dear girlfriends (Kara, Kristina and Holly) with Minnie Pearl and ???, at the Ryman Auditorium

Love those undies Isaac!!!
