At the Beach

The week after we returned from Pittsburgh, we loaded back up and headed for the beach! Our very dear friends, Merv and Jan, joined us. We had only planned on staying three days, but we had such a wonderful time we stayed an extra day! The kids did great and the weather was PERFECT! It was quite a hike to the beach from the house we stayed in, but the kids never complained! We were SO proud of them. We spent the days on the beach, ate wonderful food that we had prepared and brought, ate ice cream at the yummiest local ice cream joint in the evenings, and even got to see fireworks on the beach one night. Such a great time with lots of great memories made!
