Isaac continues to recover and seems to be enjoying his new environment, and Joshua and Jenna love having us all under one roof again. When we've tucked the kids in at night and leave the room, I am keenly aware of what a JOY it is to say, "I'll see you at breakfast!!", followed by cheers from each of them. It is good to be home.
Nate and I continue to 'unpack' emotionally. It was a tough road, and even though it appears Isaac will lead a healthy life from here on, we have lots of questions. I'm so thankful God is big enough to handle all the different emotions we are experiencing, from anger, anxiety, and bitterness, to thankfulness.
Again, there aren't words to express what each of you has meant to us through this chapter of our lives. Your support and prayers have carried us through. We love each of you and continue to covet your prayers for the days ahead.
Enjoying looking at little Isaac in the comfort of our own home!
Home at last!!!!
An all too familiar picture of the beginning days in each of our kids lives
Grandma was such a HUGE gift to us, and you can tell the kids enjoyed her!

Oh how I LOVE seeing pictures of Isaac! He is just such a doll. Braden is still talking of Baby Isaac and Uncle Nate and has even told people that he skyped "baby Isaac." So thankful the holidays are just around the corner and that we can finally meet in person! Also, tell Joshua that he makes one good looking lego! I love that costume--and of course, Jenna is a beautiful princess. Love you all and can't wait to see you so soon! You're still in our thoughts and prayers.
These are great pictures. I have to say from the one pic of Isaac i think he looks like Jenna Jo, can't wait to see him and all of you in person. By the way Jill was asking when you were going to be here I think she wanted to do another girls night if there is time. Also Nate great job on the lego man that is so cool.

Thank you for posting some pictures! I am also relieved that you must be feeling a little more relaxed, since you were now able to post on your blog. Yay! I just love looking at Isaac's eyes...there is a lot going on in that beautiful head of his. Please tell Joshua and Jenna that I loved their costumes! We are going to my MD tomorrow. I will show their pics to Auntie M. (We're supposed to have crabs if the weather didn't mess things up.)
Thanks for posting these Janel! I'm so glad things are going to begin to look more normal for you guys. I have thought to call a million times...praying for you guys still!
So glad to hear (and see in pictures) that Isaac is home. What an answer to prayer!! Enjoy! I hope your concerns are changing from oxygen levels to late night feedings and worries about when you can take your next nap! :)
