We had a great time in both OK and KS. Highlights in OK were VBS for Joshua at my home church, celebrating Joshuas 6th, lots of swimming at my brothers, fun times with cousins for the kids, and fun larger family gatherings to catch up with one and all. In KS, more swimming, more fun times with cousins, 4-wheeler rides with Grandpa, Joshua seeing his first actual play one evening at our alma mater (he felt so grown up and just soaked it all in the entire time - all the younger ones were being babysat), and the zoo.
The pictures tell most of the story of our vacation below, so beware, there are LOTS. Blessings - Janel
Fun times with Daddy
More silliness with Daddy
Juice boxes! A special treat for my kiddo's.
One of our many, many picnic's along the way.
Time for popcorn!
The kid's quickly became very fond of a ride on the laugage cart.
We spent one morning at the Adventure Science Center in Nashville. The kid's had a great time and it was nice to have a break from the van. Funny picture, I think the kid's were both excited and frightened by the electronic moving dinosaur. I think their faces express this very well.
Yes, my boys are strong enough to lift a car :)
Climbing very, very high!
One of the silly things I got the kid's to play with on the way. These glasses were a hit!
For being 2 years old, Jenna was an amazing traveler!!! Way to go Sis!
We were very excited to stay a night with our friends, the Edwards, in Memphis on our drive to Oklahoma. We had a great time catching up! These are the kiddo's, Jenna, Allie, Joshua and Lydia.
Christy and myself
Jenna was all about the "pink car" at Grandma and Papa's. She had to have a tea party in it one day too.
Jenna getting in some snuggle time with Papa :)
We celebrated Joshua's 6th birthday while in OK. The theme was Lego Rock Monsters. He wanted his Lego's on the cake, so we found some rock candy and called it good! The easiest cake I've done so far, it was sort of nice not to be so detailed since we'd just arrived 1 day earlier!
Funny boy, had to have his goggles on while playing in Papa's sprinkler.
Joshua and cousin Marisa - We spent lots of time at Uncle Rodney's pool since it was about 100 degree's everday!
Jenna getting a little whiplash while her cousin enjoys his newfound ability to drive!
The kids enjoyed a ride in the paddle boat at the Krehbiel pond.
The Stucky/Krehbiel reunion. The kid to adult ratio continues to increase! What a blessing.
A fun, but very hot morning at the zoo (not to mention my poor son was running fever and I was unaware :(
Jenna and Elaina doing some bonding
