It's About Time

Hello to all my long lost friends and followers! I don't even hardly know where to begin...it's been a rough journey but continues to improve of which I am SO SO thankful. Unless you've been without your health for an extended period of time, you have no idea how good life looks when you have your health! And it's funny how the term health becomes relative to whatever situation you're in.

We have been SO BLESSED over the past months by this community. The amount of kind and generous people living in this complex is amazing. It would have been a tough road without them. The biggest gift being all the meals that were brought in to help Nate out while I was unable to do anything in the kitchen. What a tremendous gift b/c Nate's plate was already so full.

Which lead's me to say a word about my amazing husband. He did absolutely everything around here! I did manage to watch the kid's during the day (he came home for most lunches too) but when he came in at 5p, I was 'done'. He also took care of all morning duties which allowed me to stay in bed at least an extra hour each day (that add's up when you think about it - which I was more than grateful to waste some hour's passing time in bed). He's is truly an amazing husband.

That's about all the update I can muster at this point. There is no way I can go back and 'catch up' on the blog, so I just hit some highlights below. I don't promise to be great at keeping up again, but I sure hope to start doing better :)! Thank you to everyone who has been keeping us in your prayers. I don't say that lightly. Blessings, Janel

This was a low point, while in Oklahoma, with all 4 of us puking

To some brighter moments, Happy Easter... a bit late

So being so sick I spent many hours on the couch. Some of that time was spent with Martha Stewart on at 2pm while the kid's napped/rested. I got this idea for an egg holder from her and it worked wonderfully! Nate just stuck straight pins into some cardboard. That Martha, she's genious.

A friend here at CRW organized and Easter egg hunt the weekend before Easter. It was a very chilly morning as you can see, but they had a great time - thanks Shannon!

I don't claim in any way shape or form to be a good photographer, but this one I was pretty proud of!

Joshua at the Dupree Trik-a-thon. It was a gorgeous morning and thankfully I was feeling well enough at this time to join in.

Jenna having fun in the parking lot puddles, she was 'washing' her feet.

I am so glad that you are starting to feel a little bit better! I have to tell you...the picture of you and your daughter is adorable. I know you probably weren't feeling well but that is the best thing ever...to snuggle with your little one!
