This is Nate. Well, many of you know this already, but I figure it's time to put it on the blog. Come October, we're expecting Stucky #5. We found out about two weeks ago that we're pregnant, and we are exceptionally excited. There's quite a story that goes along with getting pregnant, but I don't have time for it now. Janel is very sick, just as she was with Joshua and Jenna, but she's taking hope in the fact that this is it...no more babies after this one.
We had fun telling family in person last week while we were in KS for my grandma's funeral. It was difficult and sad to say goodbye to grandma Juhnke, but very good to spend time with family (except for the five days we all had stomach flu).
We primed Joshua and Jenna to tell the family the news. We weren't sure Jenna was going to get it, but for my parents and sister it went something like this:
Joshua: "Hey everyone be quiet and listen to this. (Pause) Jenna, what's in mommy's tummy?"
Jenna: "Baby"
Family: Gasps, big eyes, "are you serious!?", fireworks, parachuters, etc.
The next day we wanted to keep practicing so Joshua asked her again:
Joshua: "Jenna, what's in mommy's tummy?"
Jenna: "Barack Obama" [see post from Jan 27]
On the way to Janel's mom's house we thought we better keep practicing.
Joshua: "Jenna, what's in mommy's tummy?"
Jenna: [after holding ornery look for just a second] "No idea."
She hasn't answered correctly since she told my folks that first night. I think she suspects some competition for attention is on the way!!

Yippee! How exciting! Hope Janel feels better soon (well, how many weeks left of the first trimester?)
