Here's a conversation from lunch today between me (Nate) and Joshua, with credit going to Mandy D. for the format of the post. I only wish I could write as well as she does...

Joshua: Dad, do you know who some of my favorite Star Wars characters are??

Nate: No, I don't, Bud.

Joshua: Guess.

Nate: Darth Vader.

Joshua: Nope. Here's a clue, some are good, and some are bad.

Nate: Storm troopers.

Joshua: Yup, and you know who else? Hans Solo. 'Solo'...what does that name mean? Dad, do you know what 'Solo' means?

Nate: Ummm...no, I don't think so.

Joshua: Maybe that's his name becuase his legs are so short.


Janel, feeling very yucky pregnant, could not help but smile. And hope springs up all around the edges...
