BIG News!!!!

So it's been about 2 weeks since I updated last, but that's the way it goes sometimes. I became aware, about a month ago, how much time I spend on the computer. It can quickly consume my life and time - e-mail, facebook, blogging. So I am limiting myself more. I would like to update at least once a week, but some weeks there just isn't a whole lot worth reporting.

But this week there is something worth telling!!! As of this Thursday, Jenna has finally quick grunting with every bite of food!!! Hallelujah!!! For those of you who don't know, she has done this with every bite of solid food ever since she started on solid food. Most people who hear it at a meal think it's pretty humorous, but we live with it always and it has been getting really loud lately. It hinders conversation and the general peace of a meal (if there is peace at a meal with two kids:). I've become aware that she knows what she's doing lately. So with some training, and her brother praying at almost every meal that "sissy will stop grunting", she seems to be done with the grunting! She's onorary though, whenever we talk about it or bring it up, she'll give us a grunt just for kicks. She is definitely aware! So, if we're lucky, this new phase of 'not grunting' will last.

Nate finishes his internship on Sunday. He would say it's been a very rewarding experience. I'm looking forward to driving 10 minutes to church again though instead of an hour. We'll have 3 weeks now before Fall semester start. Nate still has his editorial assistant job and those weeks are packed with appointments and then Grandma and Grandpa Jo coming, but we're looking forward to having Nate around more and enjoying family time together!
