It's official, Jenna has learned to cheese for pictures now (as seen below). She also wakes up with the most amazing bedhead from her naps, affectionately called a "shimmel hoda" in our family (also seen below). She continues to love purses! Just call her the bag lady. Anything with a handle is good for her, and off she goes with much purpose and determination! Her molars are almost completely in now - hallelujah! She has mellowed a bit over the past few days now.
We had the chance to go to Ocean Grove, NJ, this past week. Nate had a meeting at one of his professor's house. We were able to put Jenna down for a nap there, Nate had his meeting while Joshua and I headed to the beach! Such a fascinating town, and Kenda (Nate's professor), was able to give us lots of interesting history on it. The point is that I had such a great time with Joshua. I think I can honestly say that I've enjoyed every phase of my kid's lives so far, but being able to walk about 1/2 mile to the beach, not worry about a nap, and generally just have a great time with him, was such a treat! He's obsessed with the fact that he is 5 now and I think I'm loving it too:).
Thanks for reading my ramblings!!

Kevin and I fell in love with Ocean Groves last summer -- there are a ton of cute bed and breakfasts there that make good date nights (okay, so it was our one night away from Hannah...) plus an amazing cheese shop on the main street. Check out the cheese place if you go back (which you should!). Like the bed-head.
Ramblings are always good...especially when accompanied by cute pictures of your sweet kids!
Keep on rambling! Love those insights and getting in on your daily activities....since we can't be there all the time! And those pictures are so wonderful! I love getting on this blog and seeing new stuff! Keep up the good work!
