Annual Summer Midwest Trip

We took three weeks to travel back to OK/KS and visit all the aunts, uncles, cousins, and parents - as we always do in the summer. We had such a wonderful time and I love it that the kids highly anticipate this biannual trip, even though it's a ridiculously long drive! Below is a small snapshot of all that happened!


Papa and Nate were mixing cement when Isaac discovered the running water hose. It provided lots of entertainment!

Joshua and Jenna both enjoyed VBS this year. This was Jenna's first year and she did great! Uncle Rodney was a main character in the nightly skits, which was a big hit with his niece and nephew!

Joshua turned 8 while in OK! Eight sounds so big! We couldn't be more proud of this confident 8 year old. He is such a gift to our family, in so many, many ways.

Fathers day in OK. Happy Father's Day to the most amazing dad/husband ever!!! And ladies, if all else fails, get your hubby a toy as a gift, it's always a BIG hit!

The Stucky's made a trip to a wildlife park. It ended up being a perfect morning and so fun.

Joshua got a camel ride with Grandpa Jo, a first for both :)!

Braden, Elaina and Jenna got a camel ride too!

Two thirds of the children here look hot and tired, but really, the wagon rides with Grandpa Jo were a highlight!
