The Loft Bed

One of Joshua's Christmas gifts was a picture of a loft bed with a date set to go build it when we returned from the holidays. A very great friend Merv, has a wood working shop only 2 hours from here and he was excited to help us out! So last Thursday we made our way up to Smoketown to let the building begin. We left on Thursday and by Friday evening we were back on our way home with loft bed in tow. Actually, since we only have a car, Merv was gracious enough to bring it down in his truck. Saturday it was assembled and Joshua was one very excited little boy - excuse me, big boy. It was a fun 3 days! Thanks a ton for all your help Merv: )!!!!

And one more thing, just as an FYI. Nate surprised me with a new camera for my birthday!! The ole' 3 megapixel has been put on the back shelf - wahooo! The best part is that it takes video with sound - no more old style soundless video's on this blog! BUT, unfortunately I'm having trouble getting them to download - surprise, surprise. So, hopefully sometime soon you'll see one of our many little clips! Blessings - Janel

Jenna got in some good snuggle time with Jan while watching the loft go up Jenna has become quite the little 'helper' in the kitchen lately Jenna was having fun putting on big brothers boots, but the comicalness (is that a word?) is in the way she put them on... Yes, this is a good portrayal of Jenna's busy personality - always trying to go two directions at once!
