Joshua had his first Christmas program last Thursday night. As I was trying Joshua's shepherd's custome on him, Nate commented that if we hadn't felt like we hit parenthood yet, we sure have now! Wow, how big he has gotten. He loved all the songs and is often still singing them around the house. What joy!
We've also made more Christmas goodies, cookies this time. And we had our own little family Christmas last night and this morning. We can't take our gifts with us to the Midwest, so we celebrated a bit early. We drag out our mattresses and sleep by the Christmas tree - not Jenna, she's too young yet. I had fun getting the kid's a book about the true story of St.Nicholas. We played a new game, Sorry, with Joshua and then we watched The Toy that Saved Christmas, Veggietales. So much fun! We open gifts in the morning then. The only hitch is that Joshua is currently sick... he got the flu mist on Friday and hasn't been the same since. This morning he threw up all over his new Lego's while putting it together. Not fun. And we're leaving at 9am tomorrow morning...
So enjoy the pic's. I hope everyone has a great Christmas season. I'll do my best to update once or twice while we're gone! Happy Holidays -Janel
Jenna has already put many miles on her new stroller - no joke!

Merry Christmas! Looks like you are enjoying the holidays and Nate's time off. Have fun visiting family and friends!
OK, what was the book about St. Nick that you read? I'd love to do that one year. Bummer about cleaning the legos, huh? They are just too big!
