Last of the leaves!

Last week had to be one of the drearier weeks of our lives. Rainy and/or cloudy everyday - ugh. And not cold, dreary, yummy soup, make a hot drink weather, but muggy, try to open your windows b/c our heaters still radiate heat when they're off, 60ish degree weather. So one of the products of this, along with some help from the wind, were tree's that are now completely bare, and I mean completely. It looks like winter arrived over night!

BUT! We were able to see the leaves dry out just in time - you know, before those loud leaf blowers and the ole 'versavac' fired up (if you're a former seminarian, don't you love it that you know exactly what I'm talking about: )! Actually, truth be told, Joshua came home from pre-K and I said, "Punkin, after lunch let's go make a huge leaf pile!!" He was very excited until about 12:30, mid-bite of my grilled cheese, when that familiar sound started up and their they were, right in front of our apt. Luckily we were able to head over to his friend, Maggie's, before they reached her apt's and had lots of fun there instead!

So I liked the pic's I took and the cute video (sorry for the poor quality and no sound, it's the best my camera does) and just had to share them sooner rather than later. Hope everyone is well, blessings - Janel

I thought the rain was never going to end last week also! What am I going to do all winter? Hopefully we'll get lots of snow...or spring better come quickly!

I miss those days! We played in the leaves here but they just weren't the same!
