We've had a fun-filled past week! The kids and I ventured to the beautiful Mercer County State Park with all our friends for playtime and a picnic. Great time! We had a 4th of July cookout with several friends and their families. It was such a relaxing evening and the rain held out until we were packing up to head home, literally. Today, we made it to Howell Farms, www.howellfarm.org. There were lots of fun events for Joshua to join in on. He made a boat which they later had a race with on the pond. The only thing that truly helped them to go, since there was little to no wind, was when the Jersey cow swatted it's tail on the water, which almost sunk one boat completely! There was also homemade ice cream, yum!
Random things about the kiddo's include, Jenna has a new fascination with sitting in her brothers lap and also trying to wrestle with him. She is also taking off again with her words, now that she mostly has the walking thing down. Her 15 month well check (more like 16 months), showed she is 22lbs 5oz (40%) and 34 inches tall (78%). Well, that's about it for now. Joshua is excited to see the fireworks tonight!
